James Lee Roberts, 84, of Florence, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on December 17, 2024. He was born on February 23, 1940, in Covington, Kentucky, to Oscar and Lula Roberts (nee Black).
Jim proudly served in the United States Air Force, reflecting his dedication and commitment to his country. He was an esteemed member of both Gun Clubs and Archery Clubs, where he enjoyed competition and camaraderie. Jim had a passion for golfing, often sharing memorable rounds with family and friends. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his son, grandson, and great-grandchildren, leaving behind a warm spirit that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lula Roberts. He is survived by his beloved son, Jeffrey Lee Roberts; his sister, Lois Justice (George); his grandchild, Jacob Lee Roberts (Katelyn), and great- grandchildren; Cora and Cohen Roberts, along with many other family members and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
A visitation will be held Monday, December, 23, 2024 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am with a funeral service beginning at 11:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018. Burial will take place at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North.
