Born: May 20, 1957 | Died: October 11, 2025
James Michael Roberts, age 68, of Greenback, TN, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 11th at home surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Roberts and Mary (Roberts) McBath, brother Ronnie Roberts, sister Loretta Roberts, nephews Michael Roberts and David Roberts, and niece Kathy Roberts. He was survived by his loving wife of 48 years Vicky Roberts, his son James Nathaniel Roberts and wife Carrie Roberts, beloved Granddaughter Amelia Roberts, daughter Shannon Roberts, and son Mathew Roberts, all of Greenback, TN. Sister in Law Phylis Hatcher, Sister in Law Ann Roberts, niece Shandi (Keasler) Balvantin and husband Jose, nieces Mary Roberts and Michaela (Campbell) Moore, and nephews Josh Keasler and Colton Keasler. He was a member of Freedom to Worship church for 31 years and an avid Christian. He retired from Gilded Mirrors after 30+ years and until recently was an employee at Airport Auto Auction. He loved all of his fellow employees, and they loved him. He will be sadly missed by all. Receiving of Friends and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Freedom to Worship Church (2013 Old Knoxville Pike, Maryville, TN 37804), with Reverend Charlie Lambert officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Louisville Memorial Cemetery (3008 Louisville Road, Louisville, TN 37777). A special thanks from the Roberts family to Covenant Hospice, Memorial Funeral Home, and especially his family at Freedom to Worship Church.
