Steve Robinson passed away at home on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was a lung transplant recipient, and his family would like to gratefully acknowledge the donor and family for their generous gift of life. 

Steve was born June 10, 1953 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Violet J. and James E. Robinson. He studied at Labette Community, and Grayson County Colleges, majoring in Sociology and Psychology. Steve worked as a car inspector for MKT Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years. He met the love of his life, Margaret, in Kansas and they were married in 1975. They soon moved to Texas where they lived and raised their family. 

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, James Earl Robinson, and Violet June Robinson.

Steve was survived by his loving wife, Margaret Robinson; sons, Ian Robinson (Yvonne), James Robinson (Kelli), and Aiden Robinson (Riley); sisters, Vivian Robinson-Gordon (Don), Valerie Robinson, and Vickie Robinson; brother, Robert Robinson (Martha); many nieces and nephews; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, whom he loved dearly. 

Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Life Gift or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
