Mr. James Frederick Robinson, 82, of Willis Drive, Elberton, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

James was born in Elberton on June 22, 1943, son of the late Thomas Lafayette Robinson and Jessie Mae Saxon Robinson. He was retired from the granite industry where he worked in maintenance, and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Calhoun Falls. A jack-of-all trades, James could fix anything he set his mind to. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, building things, and tinkering on small engines. James was an excellent cook, and enjoyed wood working. Above all, his greatest treasure in life was his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Derrick Moon of Elberton and grandchildren: Clay Page and Maggie Jameson, Gracie Page and Jacob Casey, and Connor Page, who lovingly called him “Papa James.”

James is preceded in death by his parents; son, James Michael Robinson; daughter, Janice Ann Robinson; and siblings: Wilma Wall, Betty Robinson, Bailey Robinson, Sydney Robinson, and Norman Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 21, from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, at 11:00a.m. from the graveside in the Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. J.T. Albea.
