James Rumble Obituary

James H. Rumble (Jim) age 74 from Pasadena, Maryland passed away on May 9, 2024.

He was born on February 5, 1950, in Baltimore. He graduated from Sparrows Point High School in 1969.

He was an incredibly dedicated worker including owning and operating Harbor City Janitorial Services, Inc. for 40 years as well as positions at General Electric Company, SCM Chemicals, and Rich Morton Mazda. He spent his free time going to classic car shows and watching Orioles and the Ravens games. He loved cookouts with the family, history, "taking the back way" for scenic drives through the country, and could never pass up steamed crabs. He loved talking to people and was always available to anyone in need. He never liked sitting still.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Deborah (Debby), daughter Bridget along with her husband RJ, daughter Brittany, and was the beloved Poppy to grandson, Kristopher.

He is the brother of Walthey Hensley, the late Mary Gill, Jenny Lowe, Ana Hosmer, and Keith Matro. He is the Uncle of Dawn Lam, Donna Beatty, Tony Bennett, and Michael Newberry. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins. He will be so greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on June 1st, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Chesapeake Church, 8325 Ventnor Road, Pasadena, MD. The reception will be held after the mass at 1:00 p.m. at Magothy United Methodist Church, 3703 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD. Friends and Family are welcome to attend.
