I just met Jim this past year when we were planning a Miata/Mini event at Hallett Motor Racing. We did emails, talked on the phone, and became friends. He was such an easy guy to like. Then I met him in person at the event September 8/9. Then a lot of the Hallett workers and drivers had the opportunity to get to know him. I just found out this evening that Jim died the end of November. I am so sorry to hear about this loss and send blessings to his family and friends.
