James "Jim" Schueller

James (Jim) Schueller 85 of Ooltewah, Tn went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 4, 2025 at his home in Ooltewah. James Anthony Schueller was born April 14, 1940, in St Paul Minnesota to Sylvester and Evelyn Schueller. He grew up in St. Paul and worked in his father's Pharmacy thru high school. After graduation in 1958 he entered the Navy and served for four years. He worked as a cab driver for several years and then worked many years in the trucking industry primarily as a dispatcher.
Jim and Kathy were married on October 19,1994 and together they owned and operated a resort in northern Minnesota. After they sold the resort Jim returned to work as a dispatcher until he retired and relocated to Tennessee in 2008.
Jim enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles in his free time. He and Kathy enjoyed many road trips on their motorcycles and saw much of this country. Jim continued to ride into his 80's.
Jim came to know Jesus later in life and found great comfort in his faith. He never missed an opportunity to share his faith with others, particularly people who were going through a difficult time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John and sister-in-law Marion. He is survived by his wife Kathy, six children, 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, a sister Rose and many nieces and nephews. Jim had a special relationship with his daughter Lisa, her husband Shawn and their grandchildren Carter and Jaylee.
Interment will be on July 5, 2025 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 1:45 on July 5th at Meadowview Baptist Church, Georgetown Tn followed by funeral at 2:00 officiated by Pastor Jeff Duncan.
