James Eric Schutt

James "Eric" Schutt, of Indianapolis just 39 years old, died unexpectedly on October 24,2021. He was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished by his family and friends. Eric was born on June 29,1982 to James D. Schutt and Patricia Klinglesmith in Indianapolis, Indiana. Eric graduated from Warren Central High School in 2000 and went on to begin his professional career as a welder at Monroe Custom Bodies. Eric spent his time enjoying life with his family and friends. He participated in bowling and softball leagues for several years. He was a dedicated fan to the Indianapolis Colts and Purdue Boilermakers. Eric was proceeded in death by his grandparents James C. Schutt and Bernice and Louis Bowlin, his step siblings Michael and Joseph Klinglesmith and Heather McGlothin. Eric is survived by his parents Patricia and Terry Klinglesmith, James D. and Karen Schutt. His sisters Joy McCall and Samantha Schutt, step sister Holly Graham. Nephews and nieces Destiny Klinglesmith, Caiden McCall, Kailey Grider, Gage Broady, Breanna Hamilton, Makayla McGlothin, and Jocelyn Butler. His grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at Hendryx Mortuaries Cumberland Chapel 11636 East Washington St, Indianapolis 46229, on Saturday, October 30,2021, visitation from 1:00-3:00 PM. Service to immediately follow at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the GoFundMe to support the family with funeral arrangements.
