James Dudley Shanholtz, 65, of Levels, WV passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.
Born on May 11, 1960 in Hampshire County, WV, he was the son of the late William Shanholtz and Zetta Herbaugh.
James was a hard-working farmer. He enjoyed his work, his family and shooting guns.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Kay Kesner.
He is survived by his children, Melody Shanholtz of Romney, WV, Chastity Landrum of Romney, WV, James Shanholtz of Springfield, WV and Brandon Shanholtz of Romney, WV, 4 brothers, Bill Shanholtz, Jeff Shanholtz, Wyatt Shanholtz, Lonnie Shanholtz, 3 sisters, Lucinda McKnight, Bonnie Whetzel, Penny Pennington, 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private and handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
