Harry Brooks Pyles

Harry Brooks Pyles, 91, of Augusta, WV passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 28, 1934 in Kirby, WV, he was the son of the late Harold B. Pyles and Gertrude Frances (Hott) Pyles.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Audrey Miller, Madeline Abrell, Alma DeHaven, James Pyles, John Pyles, Merle Pyles, Charles "Bob" Pyles, Jennings Pyles and Junior Pyles and a grandson, Brandon Lee White.

Harry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen (Park) Pyles, his children, Tronda Pyles, Teresa Ramsay (Chuck), Andy Pyles (Mary), all of Augusta, WV, 5 grandchildren, Brooke Crites (Jacob), Ashlyn Dolly (Britt), Austin Ramsay, Hayden Pyles, Zachary Pyles and 4 great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Abigail, Brandon and Avery. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Betty Toth of Fairfax, VA and Phyllis Park of Augusta, WV.

Harry served in the U.S. Army. He retired after 33 years at Abex and had worked in the orchards and farmed. He enjoyed life on the farm, hunting, growing an impressive garden, and helping his wife with the canning. Family was everything to Harry and his greatest joy in life was spending time with them. He attended Kirby Assembly of God Church.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV with Pastor Jed Metzler and Brad Fout officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Augusta, WV.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, 5-7pm, at the funeral home and one hour prior to service on Monday.
