It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eddie Simmons, 67, on January 18, 2025, at his home in West Melbourne, Florida with his loving wife Kimberly and sister Margaret by his side.
He was born in Pontiac, MI and predeceased by Uncle Hugh Martin of Chester, SC and nephew Marcus Hyder of Evans, GA.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 35 years, Kimberly along with his Aunt Juanita Martin of Chester, SC, his sister Margaret Hyder (Roger) of Evans, GA, his Mother-in-Law Patricia Duffield of Melbourne, FL, Nephews Trey Clement of Murfreesboro, TN and Dakota Duffield of Granbury, TX, Nieces Donna Hyder of Athens, GA, Jessica Russell of Grovetown, GA and Jamie Woodhams of Evans, GA.
He is also survived by many friends and extended family who loved him deeply.
Eddie was a plumber for 48 years and businessman. He genuinely enjoyed his customers and the life stories they shared with him. Some of those customers became longtime friends.
Eddie enjoyed drinking beer, fishing, and riding his Harley along with most outdoor fun. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Feeding them was his love language.
He will be remembered for the fierce love he had for his wife Kimberly, furbaby Lily aka Babie's, family, and his friends. His generous and selfless memory will live on in the lives of his family and friends forever. May he rest in peace.
I will be forever grateful for the support of our loving friends and Hospice. We have utmost respect for the team from St. Francis Reflections Hospice Care of Melbourne, FL.

I´ve lost my heart and true forever love. I´m broken right now and miss you so much, doing life without you is not fun, especially with a broken heart . You were my best friend, husband, love of my heart and soulmate. You were so right, there´s only one you! Thank you for always taking care of us. You were always the best provider and protector of our life together. The morning you left me you took a part of me with you and I´ll never be the same. I have so much to tell you and I will one day when we meet again. For 35 years, through good and bad and sickness and health, you truly are my Endless Love...until we meet again, Love Forever and A Day. I´ll love and miss you for the rest of my life and you´ll always be forever in my heart. Lily misses you so much too. Love Always, your loving wife, Kimberly and your little girl Lily.

Eddie was like a father to me in my younger years!! He taught me to work hard in life that I could achieve anything I wanted to. I had alot of respect for Eddie, he made a huge impact on my life! Eddie is one of the reasons for my success in life may he rest in peace. I love you man!! Even though we had lost touch over the years, I never forgot what he taught me. Sincerely, Tommy Hildreth
