James Simons Obituary
James L. "Jimmy" Simons, 45, US Army Specialist, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026 in Garden City, KS. Jimmy proudly served our country completing three overseas tours. Preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Bessie Simons and his uncle Louis Simons, Jimmy is survived by his mother, Pam Shannon; grandparents, Basil and Sue Shannon; brothers, Brett (Jennifer) Simons, Shane (Kara) Simons and Zachary Shannon; and aunts and uncles, Dottie and Randy Baumgartner, Dorie and Rusty Woods, Sherry Simons and Alex Perez, Susie and Steve Shoeck and Steve and Vickie Shannon. Jimmy will be greatly missed by his family and all the knew him.
