Phyllis Simons

Phyllis Simons, age 88, of Ozark, died March 17, 2026. She was born September 5, 1937 in Lamar, Missouri, the daughter of Phil and Stella Roth.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth, in 2016. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Eden, a brother, Roy Roth, a sister Esther Bailey, and her parents.

Phyllis is survived by two sons, Kreg and wife Cindy, and Jon Simons; a grandson, Race Simons and wife Connor; a great-grandson, Axel; a sister Marilyn Roth; a brother David Roth; numerous nieces and nephews; and Mo the cat.

“Mom inherited her cooking expertise from Grandma. She could make anything from little of nothing. We will miss her homemade pizza, Lasagna, and chocolate chip cookie dough.”

Along with her whole family, Phyllis was an avid fan of football, baseball, and tennis. She loved the Chiefs and Cardinals. She was a pet lover including black labs, all cats, and black cows.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 20, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Castlewood Assisted Living and St. Croix Hospice, for the loving care given to Phyllis.
