James Sinclair Obituary

CLINTON — James Eulen Sinclair Jr., 86, of 209 Country Club Circle, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, at home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 21, at 3 p.m. at Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Katie Rives officiating. A private burial will be held prior to the service.

Born in 1939 in Duplin County, Jimmy was the son of the late James Eulen Sinclair Sr. and Mary Lee Davis Sinclair. He was an active member of Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church and was a former Elder and Deacon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and co-owner and operator of J. E. Sinclair Company, Inc.

Jimmy loved his family, his church, and his work. One of his favorite places to share with family and friends was the cabin on Black River, where many meals were shared and memories made. He could always be found cheering on his beloved Wolfpack.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Neal Warren Sinclair of the home; a daughter, Lori Sinclair Jones (Phil) of Atlantic Beach; a son, James Warren Sinclair (Shannon) of Clinton; a sister, Nancy Sinclair of Indian Land, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Reagan Jones Tice (Will), Anna Perry Sinclair, James Warren Sinclair Jr., and April Leigh Sinclair.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Sinclair Hobbs.

The family will receive friends following the funeral service in the fellowship hall and other times at his home.

Memorials may be made to the Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church Music Fund.
