James G. Smith, 48, of Constantia, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was a graduate of Paul V. Moore High School, class of 1997. James was a proud Veteran of the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. He bravely served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2005. Beyond his military service, he enjoyed farming, fishing, spending time with his pets and barbecuing.
He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Victoria Smith; brothers, Edward C. Smith and Michael G. Smith; and father, Gordon Ambrose Smith.
James is survived by his two children, Graydon Smith and Haley Smith; his mother, Celia Richardson; his brother, Jonathan W. Richardson; as well as many extended family members.
A memorial service will be held privately.
