I was very saddened to hear of the news of Jim's passing. He was a funny and caring man. I played golf and socialized with Jim at Cape Neddick Country Club over a period of time and whenever I thought of playing on a Friday afternoon I would expect to see him laughing and joking. A good man gone to young. Jay and Mary Thurston

My condolences to the family and loved ones. Jim was one great guy and fun to talk with. His knowledge as a bail commissioner was unrivaled, he could always be counted on to have the answers. You will be missed greatly at the jail. Rest in peace.

My condolences to Jim's family. Knew Jim since the Arlington days, ran into him every summer at the 1st Saturday event in Gloucester, and reconnected with him last summer in Gloucester. It was great to catch up with him - always enjoyed his friendship. He will be missed!
