James A. Sninsky

James Sninsky, age 92, was born December 24, 1931, in Homestead, PA and passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024, in South Strabane Township, PA.
Beloved husband of 68 years to Roberta (Urban) Sninsky, fondly known as Bobbie. They lived in Munhall, PA for 40 years before moving to South Strabane Township, PA.
Beloved father of Lynn (Jim), Ken (Nan), Steve, Richard, and the late David. Cherished grandfather of Casey, Tara, Breanne, and Jake and great-grandfather of James, Charlie, Lucy, Kit, and Gia. Brother of Donald and survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a graduate of Munhall High School (class of 1949) and Duquesne University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired after working for 32 years at U.S. Steel Homestead Works as a supervisor in the structural department and later worked for the U.S. Postal Service.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Sninsky, and seven siblings: John, Andy, George, Ed, Marie, Margie, and Helen.
