James Edward Spencer, 68, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at home. He was born July 1, 1957, in Portsmouth, VA, to the late Gerald A. Spencer, Sr. and Mary Louise (De Mello) Spencer. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Mess Specialist First Class aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. After retirement from the Navy, he worked for Shop-N-Save as a stock person. He enjoyed working on computers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Spencer, Jr. and Harold "Hal" Spencer. He is survived by two children, Valarie Spencer and Claire Marie Spencer (and her husband); and one granddaughter, Jennavieve; six siblings, Lydia, Marianna, Sally, Delia, Colleen, and Peter; and his longtime companion, Penny Marie (Lankey) Spencer. As per his wishes there will be no public visitation or service.
