James "Jim" A. Sprague
Went home to his Father on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, aged 85 years. Beloved husband of Patricia Ann Sprague (nee Taugher) for 29 years. Loving father of Pamela (Kirk McBeth) Anderson, Brenda (Mark) Boyd, Sheryl (Jim) Strickland, Sara (the late Jock) Jolitz, Jodi Dobrzynski, Mary Dobrzynski, and Jill (Brian) Long. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Mabel Sprague, his brothers Edward and William Sprague, and his first wife Patricia L. Sprague (nee Dybul).
Memorial Visitation on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at All Saints Lutheran Church 9131 S. Howell Ave. Oak Creek, WI 53154 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Memorial Liturgy at the Church starting at 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's honor can be made to All Saints Lutheran Church.
Jim proudly served in the United States Air Force and the Navy. He loved to work with his hands as a carpenter, building several additions to his house over the years. Jim enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan for perch. He loved riding the open road on his motorcycle. Jim loved eating his "Tuesday Pizzas" from Papa Murphy's and his mom's casserole. He loved listening to music, dancing, playing billiards, chocolates, gouda cheese, and his beer. Jim was an animal lover, having a special connection with his faithful companion Max, until he sadly passed in 2017. Then, he found a new companion in his dog Zoey. Last, but not least, Jim loved the Green Bay Packers. He will be missed by many.
