James "Todd" Stanley;

Passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, with family and friends by his side.

A loving brother and good friend.

Todd is predeceased by his father, James Cole Stanley, his mother, Patricia Anne (Smith-Stanley) Jones, and brother Matthew Allen Stanley. Survived by his beloved cat, Marley, sister Carole Griffin (d. Albert), sister Dianne Wright (Peter) Todd has many friends and relatives. Some of his family include: Tambra Carroll (Dave), Tom Hermann (Kathy), Christine Privat, Shannon Wadsworth (Todd), Brad Smith (Nicole), Norman Smith (Tiffany), Bonnie Tefel (John) His Aunts: Dr. Blenda Smith, Sue Smith, Linda Stanley- Ferrell (Bruce), Ruth Hermann (Chuck),several neices and nephews Some of his friends include: Katie Mensinger, Doug Kelly (Jane), Frank Vaughan (Ann), Greg Andrew's (Kathy), .


Todd served his country in the United States Navy, working on the U.S.S. Kittyhawk in the Persian Gulf as a Jet Mechanic in the early 1980s.

He was a successful business owner and hard worker for many years.

He played ball in the Rochester Adult Hardball league- "The Phillies," in the late 80s early 90s.

He enjoyed going to the Rochester Amerks Hockey games with his father and brother. Rochester Red Wing Baseball games were some of his favorite games to attend . The Buffalo Sabers and Buffalo Bills were his all-time favorite teams to watch. Todd's Celebration of Life will be held at the Churchville,NY Moose Club, April 25, 2026 (1 pm to 5 pm.) officiated by Rev. Neil Samborski, Reception immediately following the service.
