James Stewart Obituary
Jim was born September 8, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio to Paul and Betty Stewart. Jim graduated from Cold State University with a degree in computer programming. Jim owned two concrete companies until his retirement from construction after which he founded the Feathers and Fur Pet Sitting Company.
Jim enjoyed staying active around the house and loved computers, as well as spending time with his beloved pet Amazon Macaws, "The Boys" as he called them.... Teo and Nini.
Jim was also heavily involved and on several multi state committees for parrots and tropical birds. He believed in giving back to his community by volunteering at Open Shelters (for the homeless) and local Food Pantries near him where he constantly donated food.
Jim was preceded in death by parents, Betty and Paul Stewart, and brother, Jack Stewart.
He is survived by sister, Cassandra (John) Breech; nephew, Robert Hammond; cousin, Robert Foster; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been observed and per Jim's request, no formal ceremony will be held. Online condolences can be made at dayfuneralservice.com
