James Stulce Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Freeman Mortuary - Jefferson City on Sep. 3, 2023.
James Dean Stulce, aged 59, a resident of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on September 1, 2023. Born on January 28, 1964, in Dixon, Missouri, he was the son of Lee E. Stulce, Sr., and Helen M. Conger.
James enjoyed his career as an over-the-road truck driver, initially for the government, but his passion for travel led him to invest in and operate two of his own 18-wheelers. In addition to his trucking expertise, he shared his mechanical know-how by teaching small engine repair at Nichols Career Center.
His extensive travels allowed him to explore the diverse landscapes of the United States, from Los Angeles to the East Coast, and as far north as Alaska. He preferred warmer climates and spent a few years living in Arizona.
James had a broad appreciation for music, enjoying genres ranging from country to blues and rock and roll. Later in life, his brother introduced him to football, and he became a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. He cherished the outdoors and found solace in nature, particularly through fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his brother, Robert Willett of Jefferson City, as well as a small circle of close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Lee Stulce, Jr., and Francis Minor.
Arrangements are under the care of Freeman Mortuary, 915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
