James "Jim" Teske Jr.

Jim was born on March 27, 1960, in Milwaukee, to James and Lillian Teske (nee Woebke). He was a proud Milwaukee native who carried his strong work ethic and generous spirit throughout his life. Jim dedicated more than 30 years of his life to working as a skilled carpenter. His craftsmanship reflected who he was steady, dependable, and built on integrity. He was also a longtime member of the Elks Club, where he formed lasting friendships and enjoyed the fellowship of his community. An avid golfer, Jim found peace and joy on the course, sharing laughter and stories with friends. Above all else, Jim was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was the kind of man who would show up at a moment's notice for anyone in need , even when his own health made things difficult. If you called Jim, he answered. If you needed him, he was there. His loyalty, strength of character, and quiet generosity touched countless lives. Family was Jim's greatest treasure. He cherished his children, His greatest joy, however, was his beloved granddaughter, Andrea, who was truly his pride and joy. She brought immeasurable light to his life, and he adored every moment spent with her. Jim will be profoundly missed by his loving wife, Jean; his children; Misty (Alex) Kaiser, Luke, Rachel, and Jacob, his granddaughter, Andrea; his sister, Nadyne (Larry) Borucki; and his best friend, Dan Bielinski, who once saved Jim's life , a bond they carried with gratitude and brotherhood for years. He will also be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many loyal friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Teske, and his siblings, Noryne Merkey and William Teske. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 , what would have been Jim's 66th birthday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the medical team and staff at Froedtert Hospital for their compassionate care and support. Jim's legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
