James Tharpe Obituary
James leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by his family. He is survived by four sisters, Nora Townes, Elease Sims, Shirley Boyd, all of Camden, TN and Neddie Vasquez of Clarksville, TN; four brothers, Verdell (Geneva) Tharpe and Willie (Priscilla) Hudson of Paris, TN, Donnie Hudson of Camden, TN, and Kenneth Hudson of Waverly, TN; and two aunts, Merl and Alberta Tharpe of Paris, TN. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Special family, The Camden Health and Rehabilitation Center of Camden, TN. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evoila (Willie) Hudson, father, Eugene Tharpe, and sister, Sharon Hudson.
Visitation with the family will Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 11:00-1:00 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Camden, TN.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 1 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of James, please visit our floral store.
