James Jeffrey Thompkins, 58, of Toms River passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. James was born in Wahiawa, Hawaii. His favorite activities were sports, more specifically, basketball and football. He loved watching western cowboy movies, planting plants, and his animals, Shaggy, Zeus, and Luna.
James Thompkins was a loving son. He loved his mother and father so much. The love he had for his wife, children, and family was astronomical. Everyone he came across he touched in a special way. He was loved by many.
To the Thompkins family, Conover family, Bellavista family, Barnes family, Bailey family, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, he loved you all.
James is predeceased by his parents, John and Gladys Thompkins, and sister, Susan Thompkins.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Bellavista; daughters, Ebony Thompkins, Michelle Thompkins, and Karlyn Rose Kraft; sisters, Margaret Barnes, Theresa Thompkins Bailey, Faye Thompkins, and Ivy Dennise Thompkins, and brothers, Daniel Crudup, and John Thompkins.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 5 - 7pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.
