James Vanderhoof, 68, died on January 22nd due to Covid pneumonia.
Jim was born on January 16th, 1954, to Charles and Virginia Vanderhoof. Jim was a wonderful and caring Christian man who loved his family and friends so much. He spent a lot of his time outdoors; camping, hunting and fishing. Jim was very creative and loved to work with his hands. He enjoyed woodworking and building different types of furniture around the house. He was a very hard worker and always willing to help anyone in need. He will truly be missed.
Jim is preceded in death by his dad Charles Vanderhoof and mom, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Wendy Vanderhoof, his son Tony Schmitz and granddaughter Scarlet, significant other Diana Ruiz and her two children: Mia and Thomas, son Michael Schmitz and his wife Courtney, and his two grandsons Landon and Ryker, two sisters Janice Green and Jonna Kirby.
Jim's funeral service will be held on Saturday January 29th, at 1:00 p.m. at Waller Baptist Church, 2520 Cherry St. Waller, Texas 77423. A celebration of life will take place afterwards.
