JV,

It has taken me some time to process your passing, but I will never forget the friendship that we had for each other. A day doesn't go by where I don't think about you and the music we made together, at gigs or jamming at Uncle Pat's house. You were the only brother I had left and there will never be another one like you.

Rest in peace, James

"JV," you always had a smile and something good to say about anyone you were talking about. Uplifting, funny, a real personal guy you liked to call your friend. A dynamic drummer, exciting to watch and hear play. You always knew your "chops" when we were playing music. You kept all of us in check with your beat. I'm glad I met you some 36 years ago. I'll miss you, your smile, the energy and professionalisim you always had when you played the drums. Most of all, your laughter. It will be hard knowing you're gone. All of us will miss you. Thank you for being my friend all these years. Richie (Zas) Zasada

My prayers are with you, my cousins, in this time of mourning. JV will be missed. "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11: 28-30

James "JV" ..... Creeper , a solid guy, made my days just a bit better when we worked at PureCussion. We met when he bought a kit from me and when we needed a guy for PureCussion I called him ~ first round draft so to speak. We have a mutual love of drums and spent hours and hours talking about then working on them, my condolences to the family , Bongo
