James O. Vincent, 71, of Carlyss, LA passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, surrounded with love and family. He was known for his heart of gold, sound advice and helping hand. He touched many lives with his kindness. James was a 1971 Sulphur High Graduate.
He is survived by daughter Jenny Vincent of Carlyss, son Jason Vincent of Dallas, Texas and daughter-in-law Tosha Vincent of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; grandchildren Kyle Vincent, Dylan Vincent, Reyna Vincent, Ava Mueller and Liam Harvey; siblings Margaret Vincent, Roger Vincent (wife Diana), and Judith Perry; stepchildren, step-grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
He was predeceased in life by wife, Marcia (Djerf) Vincent; son Eric Vincent; parents Melvin and Delores Vincent; and brothers, Dale Michael and Ralph Vincent.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. The visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery.
