It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gail Howell, who left us on February 2, 2026, just shy of her 73rd birthday. Born on February 14, 1953, in Tennessee, Gail made her home in Sulphur, LA, where she brightened the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Gail enjoyed reading her Bible and having Bible studies with her sister, Martha. She loved helping people especially the elderly. She was known for her cooking especially her delicious cinnamon rolls. Gail made her children's clothing when they were young and liked to crochet different items. Gail is survived by her husband, David; her children, Felicia Ault, Windy Adams, Charlie Ault, Eric Howell, and Christopher Howell;15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her sister, Martha Quinn; her brother, Tim Arledge; and countless friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, T.A. and Marjorie Arledge; her sister, Elizabeth Arledge ; and her brother, Michael Arledge. A cremation service has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur.
