Kenneth Wayne Cole

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Wayne Cole will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Interment will follow in Cryer Cemetery, Oakdale, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mr. Cole, 67, of Sulphur, formerly of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at West Calcasieu-Cameron Hospital, Sulphur, LA.

He was a loving father and proud grandfather who found his greatest happiness in his family. He loved watching old westerns, casting a line on a quiet fishing day, and making memories while playing with his grandchildren, who truly were the light of his life. He was a proud member of the Four Winds Tribe, and his name was Thunder Bird. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelly and Billie Lue Cole; and one brother, Tony Cole.

Those left to mourn his lose and cherish his memories are two sons, Michael Cole, Sr. (Bobby Jo) of Sulphur, and Travis Cole (Krista) of West Lake; two daughters, Casey Cole-Hardy (Joseph) of Sulphur, and Crystal Cole (Kathryn) of Westlake; two brothers, Ben Cole (Debbie) of Oakdale, and Warren Cole (Karen) of Farmersville, Texas; one sister, Mary Cole of Garland, Texas; seven grandsons, Michael Cole, Jr., Anthony LeBon (Savannah), Tony Cole, Nicholas Cole, Samuel Cole, Nathaniel Cole, and Andrew Davis; five granddaughters, Kaydence Cole, Kaiden Johnson, Ava LaVergne, Amaya Cole, and Salene Hardy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
