Jim passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the age of 57. He was born in Bay City, Michigan on May 15, 1967 to the late Gerald and Betty (Mielock) Vink. Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Jim loved the outdoors, he enjoyed gardening, hunting, grilling, and campfires with a cold Busch Lite. He was a devoted father and loved spending time with his family.
Jim is survived by his ex-wife, mother of his children, and close friend, Margie Vink, his son, Joshua Vink (his fiancé, Marissa Crase), son, Jordan (Abby) Collins and their children, Jaxon and Waylon, son, Gregory Collins and his children, Ariella and Lilliana; siblings, Joyce Snow, Mike Vink, Barb (Dennis) Banaszak, Dianne (Dean) Vos, Scott (Cindy) Vink and many numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Joseph Atchinson. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at Gephart Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be considered to wishes of the family.
