James Vogrin

January 1, 1960 - May 13, 2024

Kansas City, Kansas - James Raymond "Jim' Vogrin, age 64, of Kansas City, Kansas peacefully left this world on Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home, surrounded by love.

Jim was born on Jan 4, 1960 to William J. "Bill" and Elizabeth A. "Betty" Boland Vogrin in Kansas City, Kansas and lived there his entire life. Jim was united in marriage to Dené M. Anderson in 1981. They had one daughter - Ashley.

He is survived by his wife, Dené, who provided loving care at home for Jim during the 3 years of his severely declining heath. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law Ashley and Daniel Rowden, his two grandsons, Tyler and Jase, along with his three older brothers and many cousins.

Jim's family appreciates all the people who assisted during his extended illness. Heartfelt thanks go out to his childhood friend, Bill Murray, Mike Kimball, the staff of Harbor Hospice, and the Sisters, Servants of Mary.

The family is planning a "Celebration of Life" on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Grinter House Friendship Hall,1400 S 78th St, Kansas City, KS 66111, between the hours of 11:00 a.m – 2:00 p.m. so that everyone can gather and reminisce about Jim.
