James Bryan Whitlock, 56, of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away peacefully May 8th, 2025, in the comfort of his home surrounded by family and the wonderful help of Heart Of Hospice.
He is survived by his mother, Rita Stepps of Greenwood; Two sisters, Hollie Whitlock and Kimberly Whitlock of Greenwood; One brother, Delbert Hallmark of Fort Smith; along with many extended family members who loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Whitlock.
Bryan was a good man, a private man. He loved animals, working with wood, and gave the best hugs. He was an auto upholsterer and welder for many years. He continued to be funny and caring and always strived to remain strong to the best of his ability. A special thank you would like to be given to his cousin Lynn Duran of Plains, Texas.
A private family service will be held at his home at a later date. Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
