He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Whittaker and Lou Faye Perry; grandmothers, Omega Brown and Katherine Robertson Allen; and grandfather, Willis Allen.
James leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Jennifer Oxford; three children, Nicholas Tyree March-Banks, Zacorri Chrishawn March-Banks and James Christopher Whittaker, Jr.; two sisters, Rachael (Daniel) Chunn and Veronica Cleveland; niece, DeRaya and nephew, Rae Shawn; four grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
