James Robert Wingard Sr.

James "Jamie" Robert Wingard Sr., of Elmore, Alabama, passed away from congestive heart failure. Born on December 24, 1985, Jamie was known for being as "wild as the wind" yet a fierce protector of those he loved.
Jamie's greatest accomplishment, as he often said, was his children, whom he loved deeply. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working on mechanics, and gathering around bonfires. Those who knew him knew that if he loved you, he did so wholeheartedly, and if he didn't, you also knew it.
He is survived by his mother, Jackie Wingard; his sister, Jessica Wingard, and brother, Justin "Catfish" Wingard; his wife, Melody Wingard; his sons, Hunter (Jessi), Dalton, Robbie, and Wade; and his daughter, Hope. He also leaves behind stepchildren, Edwina, Mikell and Bryson, along with many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Jamie had accepted Jesus as his savior. As the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:8, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." Today is not a goodbye, but a "see you later," as Jamie is with the Lord Jesus, and those who have also accepted Jesus will see him again
