James Winget Obituary

Jim, age 79, provided chiropractic care for more than 45 years in Northern California. He was an avid model train collector, PONY Baseball coach, and competitive soccer team manager. He led his 1987 Boys River City United Hotspur premier team to the U.S. Nationals, where they placed sixth overall. He was a dedicated supporter of youth athletics and took great joy in cheering on the many sporting events of his children and grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patty; daughters Tuesdai Powers and Quaker Varin Boyd; sons Bryon and Shaughn Winget; and sister Susan Ledford. He was the loving grandfather of Riley Powers; Addison and Ella Varin; Chloe Smith; Audrey and Sterling Winget; and Georgia and William Winget. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lois Winget.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to support young athletes at Folsom Lake Surf Soccer Club. Contributions may be made by using the following link:
