Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday February 20, 2025 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery; 4400 West Kenyan Ave.; Denver, CO 80236.
James "Jim" Wohlenhaus was born on December 5, 1945, in Coral Gables, Florida, to Kermit F. Wohlenhaus and Shirley Jean (Hicks) Wohlenhaus. He passed away on February 5, 2025, in Hugo, Colorado, after a brief illness.
Jim and his family eventually moved to Colorado, where he attended North High School, graduating in 1963. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver. After college, Jim enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1970.
On September 9, 1967, Jim married Beverly Ruth Brown. To this union there were no children.

A devoted baseball enthusiast, he had a passion for collecting memorabilia and remained a loyal fan of the Colorado Rockies, despite their challenging seasons. He was also a dedicated advocate for rescue dogs and shared his later years with his beloved four-legged companion, Teddy, a Maltese mix he rescued.
