James Anthony “Tony” Wolfe, 72, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 in Fort Worth.
Visitation: 6-8pm Friday White’s Funeral Home, Azle.
Graveside Service: 10am Saturday Garvin Cemetery in Boyd
Tony was born July 20, 1952 in Tarrant County; son of James Herman Wolfe and Nina Verniece (Thackerson) Wolfe
From 1978 to 1989 he worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a Journeyman Electrician. He would go on to work for the Federal Government as a machinist with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, until his retirement.
He was a lover of music and western movies. Tony will also be remembered as a man of strong Christian faith and values. He was always willing to extend a helping hand to others. Of all of the things that brought him joy in life, his first love was his family. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life.
Tony is preceded in death by his father; and his beloved wife of 44 years, Carolyn Wolfe; and brother, Wesley Wolfe.
Survivors include his children, Brandie Wolfe (Guillermo Acosta), Christopher Wolfe, and James “J.J.” Wolfe; mother, Nina Wolfe; daughter-in-law, Coleen Whitelightning; grandchildren, James, Chaya, and Lacy; brothers, Roger Wolfe and Troy Wolfe; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
