James Wolthuis Obituary

Wolthuis, James 6/27/1950 - 1/12/2023 James John Wolthuis went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 12th, 2023 at his home after a long battle with cancer. James had a heart of gold. He was a devout Christian, veteran, loving husband, father and grandfather. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed making people laugh any chance he could. He was a mechanic for many years and spent a lot of time in his garage smoking cigars and working on his antique truck. He also had a love for traveling, attending rock concerts, going to car shows, reading car magazines, indulging in delicious foods and watching Korean TV shows and movies. He is survived by his son, Andrew Wolthuis (Rana Mort); two daughters, Ariane Bloom (Jake Bloom), Renee Rinna (Angelo Rinna); his brother Steve, sister Judy; and his four grandkids, Callisto, Rocco, Clay and Gino. He is preceded in death by his wife Vicki, mother Mildred, father John, sister Diane, and his brothers Danny, Billy, and Bob. A memorial will be held Saturday, January 21st at Solid Rock Bible Church in Delton at 11am.
