Grandparents, Pat McCreery; Dan and Linda Greeson
Nieces and Nephews, Braden, Brilee, Bree and Breck Wrye, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death are grandparents, Lee McCreery, Eddie and Sophie Wood, great-grandparents, Raymond and Beulah McCreery, aunt Barb Wood, uncle Mark Banner and cousins, Jerry and DeWayne Wood.
Jimmy graduated from Eldon High School in 2004 and went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He was currently employed as a heavy equipment operator for Republic Services. Previously employed as security for Securitas, and worked at the Miller County Jail and the Missouri Correctional Center, and for Jim Wood Construction Company for 20 plus years. He was a "jack of all trades" and could pretty much do anything he set out to accomplish. He liked camping, hiking, Jeeping, kayaking, biking, reading, gaming, snowboarding and was very talented with mechanics and woodworking. Jimmy loved his dogs, Mack, Saline and River. Jimmy was saved and recently baptized into the love of Christ. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and kind heart that would light up any room he walked into.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bill Foglesong officiating. Private Family Interment will be held at Tol Wood Cemetery.
Memorials in his name are suggested to Fresh Start Animal Outreach of Eldon, MO.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
