Mr. James Patrick Young, age 54, of Lebanon, passed away February 27, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Born January 21, 1972, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Joseph Francis Young and Vera Noel Rose Young, who survive.

He worked at Domino’s Pizza. He attended the Lebanon First Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Joseph Young II, of Gallatin, Rev. Jerry Young and his wife, Sis. April of Mitchell, IN; sister, Linda (Mark) Gauvin of Lebanon; four nephews: Jonathan (Ashton) Gauvin of Buffalo Valley, Simon Young of Mitchell, IN, Jacob Gauvin of Lebanon, Joseph (Halle) Young of Mitchell, IN; two great-nieces, Brailey and Opal Gauvin; great-nephew, Grayson Gauvin; his best friend since elementary school, Matt Cox of Murfreesboro.

A memorial service to honor James’ life will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2 p.m. from the Lebanon First Church of the Nazarene, 812 North Cumberland St., Lebanon, with Rev. Jerry Young, Rev. Gary Wilson and Rev. April Young officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.
