Jamey Ray "JDawg" Workman, born on January 17, 1975, in Mansfield, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was 50 years old.

Jamey was a proud graduate of Cloverleaf High School, Class of 1995. His passion for learning led him to further his education at ITT Technical Institute, where he earned a degree in Applied Science in 2010. Throughout his life, Jamey remained committed to personal growth and spiritual strength.

From an early age, Jamey embraced his faith with deep conviction. A born-again Christian, he began his spiritual journey at Truth Baptist Church in West Salem, Ohio. His love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of his life. Jamey never met a stranger—he shared the Word of God and the gift of salvation with everyone he encountered. His unwavering faith carried him through many challenges, and he gave all glory to God for the victories he experienced.

Jamey's heart was full of love for animals—especially his beloved dogs who have since passed—and he found joy in simple pleasures like sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air. He had a gift for connecting with people and cherished time spent with family. Whether teasing his nieces and nephews or proudly bragging about them to others, Jamey's affection for his family was boundless.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother Vanessa "Jane" Greegor; sister Robin "Sis" Dellafave and her husband Tom Dellafave; brother Jeremy Rising; sister Heather Hootman; nephew Tad Hinkle; nieces Jasmine Hinkle, Paiten Hinkle, Cadence Hinkle, Wilson Hinkle; nephew Gracen Dellafave; nephews Blake Rising and Zach Rising; great-niece Josie Mae Rising; great-nephew Uriah Rising; niece Chelsey Hootman; and great-niece Emma McCaman.

Jamey now joins those who went before him: his father Ron "Pops" Holbrook; stepfather Mike Greegor; two angel babies; grandparents Bill and Nellie Workman and Arthur and Viola Holbrook; aunts Rose Workman, Sue Workman, Diane Caudill; uncles Chris Workman, Art Holbrook, Eddie Holbrook.

Jamey's legacy is one of faith, resilience, humor, and love. He touched countless lives through his testimony and kindness. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in knowing this is not goodbye—it's only "see you later."
