Jami Lyn Patterson

Jami Lyn Patterson, 45, of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Jami was born on April 18, 1977, in Shawnee. She was the daughter of David Harold and Shirley Ann (Coleman) Bland. She grew up in Prague and was a 1995 graduate of Prague High School. Following high school, Jami attended Seminole State College, where she majored in nursing. It was around that time, that she developed lymphoma, where she fought and eventually won the battle with cancer.
Jami worked for many years as a registered nurse. Her favorite time in nursing was working as a traveling nurse, where she had the opportunity to visit many new places and meet new people.
Jami enjoyed riding horses and playing basketball. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also loved to learn. She often had a book in her hand. But most of all, she loved being a mother. Her son, Cole, was her pride and joy.
Jami was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Bland; her grandparents, N.C. and Betty Coleman and Colvin and Rena Bland.
She is survived by her son, Cole Caldwell; her husband, Zach Patterson; her stepson, Ezra Patterson; her father, David Bland; two sisters, Staci Winlock and her husband, Simon and Jill Anderson and a host of family and friends.
