Jamie Arena Obituary

Jamie sadly passed away unexpectedly on May 27th, 2025 at age 42. He is predeceased by his grandparents Barbara and Fred Ott and cousin Danny Ott. He is survived by his beloved children Jake, Gia and Lexi, his mother Sandy Wiegele, his father Joseph (Susan) Arena, brother Joseph Arena, grandparents Clarence and Rosemary Arena, uncles Daniel Ott and David Ott, aunt Diane Arena, and many cousins.
Jamie obtained his journeyman license in mechanical services and was 3rd generation employed by UA Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 13. His greatest accomplishment in his life was his three children Jake, Gia and Lexi who were the light of his life. Jamie was kind, funny, loving, and a huge Bills fan He will be tremendously missed.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 21st, from 2-6pm at Point Pleasant Fire Department 55 Ewer Ave Rochester, NY 14622

I only knew Jamie as a customer, and colleague in the local HVACR industry. In these past 8 years working for a local wholesale house, I only had positive transactions, and social exchanges with Jamie. He was always fun to deal with, and I know he was regarded as a good technician amongst his peers in the trade. I know that his divorce was hard on him, though I think he worked not to show that. He often spoke of his children whom he loved. I was deeply saddened when I heard of Jamie's passing, as I think everyone I know was. Jamie was good people, and we will all miss him.

Not only one of my best friends he was like a brother to me. If my house ever needed anything fixee he'd be over immediately to help, and make it a point to always snap a photo of my air filter way over due for changing and share it but with our groups of friends every time. That was Jamie, always the loudest and smartest ball buster I ever met. This one hurts hard, as life moves memories fade, not ours my friend, we've built enough memorable moments together I don't think they'd ever fade away. My heart goes out to all your other friends and family in this difficult time. You were a legendary friend and brother, rest peacefully.
