Jamie Brooks Obituary
Jamie Lee Melrose was born on July 20, 1976 in Flint, MI a daughter of Thomas Melrose and Jane (Jones) Starkel. On March 13, 1999 she married Scott Brooks. Jamie enjoyed reading, being in the pool, gardening, flowers, collecting Petosky stones, traveling up north, she loved her dogs, Winston and Bailey, going on road trips with her daughter, Kylie, sharing about her son, Tyler's accomplishments and being dedicated to her family. She was a very hard worker and worked for the state of Michigan through MPHI for 12 years.
Jamie is survived by her husband, Scott Brooks; children, Tyler Brooks and Kylie Brooks; siblings, Jessica (Ryan) Tomaselli and Paul (Hannah) Melrose; mother, Jane Starkel; father, Thomas Melrose; and mother-in-law, Caroline Brooks. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Janet Packney.
