Jamie was so friendly and loving inviting me into her friendship circle in the mid-2000's with Dina Yoel. She was one of the kindest people I knew. I am so sorry for this unimaginable loss.

Oh Jamie I think about you often you are definitely not forgotten. I love when your sister said it was your dream to live in Manhattan and you were!!! You lived it up to the fullest. I don´t know why you left but I imagine you were really hurting. So I hope you´re not hurting anymore. Xo Julie R.

When I first joined the IV team at Cornell, I was petrified of working with kids as I´ve never had to before. When I was training, I watched Jamie place an iv into a tiny baby with precise skill and precision, I couldn´t help to think how I would ever be able to learn to do something like this? Jamie was eager to teach me, she provided expertise like no other. When it was time to learn how to place a PICC line, she was also first in line to help guide me. She was always eager to help out the team. During downtime we would share stories about traveling or cars. She was always quick with a story and would crack us up with jokes and her infectious laughter. She will truly be missed, may her memory be a blessing.

My deepest condolences to the family and Vinny. Jamie and I met when I joined the Vascular Access Team at NewYork Presbyterian Weill Cornell in 2008. I was the new Patient Care Director and she was one of the vascular access specialists on the team and she welcomed me with open arms! She and I always had a very special connection both inside and outside of work. There were just so many laughs! Some of my favorite memories were attending Association for Vascular Access (AVA) conferences with her. I'll never forget the time in Marco Island, FL when she tripped by accident and scraped her toe so badly we wound up in urgent care together laughing through the whole thing. We had too much fun together!
We last communicated on September 26th and reminisced about some of our fondest memories together. We joked about a running list of funny quotes that kept us laughing over the last 15 years. She was a fun, loving, witty, intelligent, bright light and I am so devastated to have lost her so soon. I will miss her very much. May her memory be a blessing to us all which I will hold dear to my heart!

I remember Jamie interviewing for the position on the Pediatric IV team, so many years ago. I liked her right away - she was bubbly, smiling and was a ray of sunshine.
She became a great pediatric IV nurse. Many of the kids and their parents would be looking for Jamie, asking if she was working. She oriented many new team members over the years.
She had many funny stories. She liked her `Curry in a Hurry´ for lunch.
She spoke often of her dad and her family. Her adventures with Megan on vacation. Her grandmothers and her love for her mom.
I´m so sorry for your loss.
