Jamie Nicole Cooper, 51, a resident of McComb, MS passed away on November 2, 2025 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS after a short, but extremely hard fought battle with cancer.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 7, 2025 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 5 PM until 8 PM.

Jamie was born on February 18, 1974 to the late Raymond and Carolyn Kesinger. She graduated from Hattiesburg High School in 1992. She was a loving mother not only to her children, but to any child that came into her home. She had an amazing sense of humor and there was never a dull moment. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Kesinger and father Raymond Kesinger; one aunt Susan "Q." Fults; one cousin Caleb J. Chatelain; and a special friend Denna Fortenberry.

She is survived by three sons all of McComb, MS Derek Allen, Dylan Cooper, and Andrew Cooper; two nieces Kelsi Roberts and husband Patrick and Alexis Golmon; numerous special friends including Pearl Ray Allen, Timothy S. Cooper, Debra Townsend, Kristy Bates Newman, Jacki Carter and husband Jamie, and Charles "Cotton" Gorman, along with many others from working at the Claiborne of McComb.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Derek Allen, Dylan Cooper, Andrew Cooper, Pearl Ray Allen, Timothy Cooper, and Blake Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to University of Mississippi Medical Center in memory of Jamie Cooper.

The family and friends would like to thank the entire staff at UMMC for everything they did, they were amazing through the whole process.
