Jamie Herbert Grantham

 

Mr. Jamie Herbert Grantham, 52, of Ellaville passed away on July 11, 2023.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Overflow Worship Center at 2:00PM with Pastor Will Rayburn officiating. Burial will follow the service at Preston City Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Way-Watson Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. 

Mr. Grantham was born February 5, 1971 in Hazlehurst, GA to Jet and Karen Grantham.  He worked with Flint Energies for more than 15 years before beginning a career with Kendall Vegetation Services where he was a certified arborist and supervisor.  Jamie enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, grilling and riding his motorcycle.  He loved spending time with his family and loved them dearly. 

He leaves behind to cherish the memories, his wife, Melissa Justice Grantham of Ellaville; his parents, Jet and Karen Grantham of Preston; seven children, Megan Muñoz (Francisco) of Ellaville, Brittany Grantham (Davin Rees) of Americus, Marie Adams of Resaca, GA, Haley Underwood (Houston) of Preston, Tyler Grantham (Mara) of Savannah, GA, Amber Grantham and Harley Grantham; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Lisa Albritton; a brother-in-law, Cecil Albritton, Jr. and 2 nephews, Bitty Albritton and Dakota Albritton.
