Jamie Gustafson Obituary
Jamie was preceded in death by her son Elijah Nash Starkey; her former companion Jared Dewayne Starkey; and her grandparents, Joy and Jack Hirrill and Pearl and Harold Gustafson.
Survivors include her beloved daughter Indi Joy Starkey; her parents, Roger W. Gustafson and Benita Mecum; her step-father, Daryld B. Mecum; her siblings, Kerry Platts and husband Robert Platts and Liskin Thornhill and husband Ben Thornhill; her nieces and nephews, Josie Platts, Jack Platts, Justus Platts, Jorgia Platts, and Reed Thornhill, and many loving cousins and extended family.
A viewing will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, Grand Junction, CO on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 1:00 – 2:00pm. Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Orchard Mesa Cemetery. A reception will be held in her honor following the burial at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Jamie has prior requested that she wouldn't want anyone to dress in black. Please honor her and dress in vibrant colors.
