Jamie Park Hounchell

I had a teacher in 2nd Grade at Okolona Ky by the same name. I don´t remember what she looked like but I´ve told myself all my life she was my favorite teacher. She would have been around 24 in1972. Could this be her? Thanks. JL

I met Jamie February 2010; we were roommates at tropical dance contra week on the beach at St Croix VI. I loved her instantly! We traveled to many contra dance weekends, including 3 weeks in Italy, from 2010 thru 2015. What a vibrant, fun, talented, and funny person she was! I´m sad to say goodbye to her, but thankful for our wonderful memories. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

My children Beth and Sam Priest were so lucky to have Jamie as their teacher. She gave them an excellent start to their education especially Sam as he had special needs. She was a blessing to my family. I am saddened by the news of her passing. Lynne Priest
